Back to basics with a tough, 72-word themeless today. A special shout-out to Erik Agard, who gets prime real estate for writing the great clue for 1-Across — that was part of the exchange after I wrote one of his clues for his massive crowdsourced puzzle for Christmas (and, as always, you should check out his other great puzzles at his site here). Another special shout-out to my wife Vicki, who wrote the clue for 49-Down.

Finished in 7:49. I thought you said this puzzle was tough 😉 Ok, so I did hit a few 26-Downs, but any crossword that references Radiohead, Better Call Saul (which you *know* is gonna be good!) and one of my crushes at 4-Down is right in my wheelhouse. I will admit I had to piece together 1-Across, who, imo, is diametrically opposite Radiohead for a reason.
Fun puzzle. Liked the long answers a lot.
You got me with the clue to 47 across, I needed every cross. Also, you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Tommy Wiseau!
