So like I wrote on Saturday, the plan was to publish a puzzle when I was done with my schoolwork for the year. And guess what? I’m still not done. But that didn’t stop me from putting this puzzle up. Call it early onset senioritis, call it procrastination, call it a desire not to fall further behind (on crosswords, anyway). The point is, I wanted you to have something. This one’s my first Mild puzzle of the Devil Cross era.

very mild, although that SW corner might have slowed me but for the theme. more habanero next time please.
Mild puzzles have been rare here since I began this site, so you’ll likely get a tougher one next time. Can’t have them be all spicy all the time, though.
Sadly – Too old, or not nerdy enough… SW fell last.. Think I’ll go with “Not Nerdy” enough.. Always appreciate a puzzle Evan.. thanks.. 7D was a bit “spicy” though?
Well, a bit spicy in that regard, yes. But probably way more mild than what I coulda done!
